Hi everyone. I hope you’re all keeping well. I’m long overdue a blog post, I know.
Last year ended on a particularly sad note for me in that I lost one of my parents. Needless to say, my writing plans and projects had to be set aside in order to deal with the aftermath and everything I had to do family-wise.
Things have settled down and I’m back to being able to focus on my stories.
I finally completed my original novella “Midnight Calling” which is posted in its entirety on Wattpad. Just for fun, I submitted it to the Ambys contest over there. It hasn’t a hope in hell of winning anything but I figured, why not.
So what’s going on with my 3310 fanfiction these days?
After delaying doing so (per reader request) at the end of last October, I will be unpublishing “When Tomorrow Comes” as of tomorrow (April 2). The reason is because I’ve started rewriting the story with an aim for possible publishing. The original draft version –The Rivers of Fate– remains on my Long profile.
I had fun recently creating a series of promotional graphic banners for short stories in the Peach Blossom Dreams anthology. They’re placed at the end of key stories to promote their writer and their works. Feel free to take a look and let me know what you think.
I did finish a first full edit of “The Silk Blade” a while ago and I am pleased to say that the general readership edition of it –Song of the Fox Goddess – has earned over 5K views on my Long profile.
Someone asked me a long while back about “Sea of Clouds” and whether it was still on hiatus. After a dozen chapters, I decided to pull it completely as it was drifting further and further away from anything remotely resembling 3310. It is now an original project I am working on completely offline.
My remaining 3310 fanfics will stay as is on my Sun profile for now. I still want to do a rewrite of “A Brush With Fate” but that’s no longer looking like it will be this year.
Marie and I are planning on keeping this website going for another year at least. Marie will be posting the final chapters of “A Haven of Peach Blossoms” before moving on to new original projects and I want to try adding a few new ideas of mine too.
In the interim, if anyone would like to make any recommendations or has any suggestions for what they’d like to see here, please let us know. You can comment below or email us privately at twindragonscribes@gmail.com.
Take care and peace to the world.
Lisa
Thanks for the update! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for “Sea of Clouds” as I really enjoyed the plotline. The fact that it was a little different than most 3310 fan fiction is okay with me! I am really missing 3310 fan fiction, not many people are writing about our favorite characters any more!
Thank u for your stories . I totally loved them all
Thanks for always being a great supporter 💕!
