I have a new Eternal Love fanfiction in the works, a Bai Qian & Ye Hua love story. This story has been in my mind for a very long time. It is one of two (maybe three) new writing projects that are on the horizon for me this year.
So first, for the lovely 3310 fanfiction readers who follow the Twin Dragon Scribes blog, here is an exclusive peek at Su Su’s Promise…
My other writing project has already launched on my Wattpad Elisabeth Long profile. The story is titled The 23rd Hour. It is an original fantasy work that I decided to do for this year’s Open Novella Contest. This is a contest which challenges writers to complete a 20-40K novella within 13 weeks. The novellas must be based on one of the various prompts presented by the organizers.
I haven’t a hope in hell of winning against the many traditional published authors who participate. It’s not why I entered. For me, it’s a creative challenge outside my comfort zone and a chance to stretch my wings further than I have before.

Every turn of the Clocks, Midnight calls the roll and ushers in a new day.
The twenty-four immortal Hours are each responsible for their assigned watch. In an infinite cycle, they preside over the passage of Time on Earth. Until one Hour decides they’ve had enough –they want to seize an eternity for themselves.
That Hour happens to be the most powerful of them all.
Who amongst the others stands a chance of stopping Midnight from calling?

Darker stories that involved Supernatural, Paranormal and Witches are my things. Watching Series The Witcher in Netflix and Supernatural and in T&E TV programs and enjoying it. Your new book definitely caught my eyes. Strikingly intriguingly thrilling. Even it’s not about Ye Hua and Bai Qian Story, I am a fan for different genre.

I’ve started reading the 23rd Hour and I find it very intriguing. It has a Hitchcock vibe to it but at the same time the starkness and darkness of blade runner.
Excited to read this new Ye Hua and Bai Qian story. The title and the sneak peek is very interesting. I’d like to find out what Susu’s Promise is and why Bai Qian did not recognise Ye Hua
Lol, and here I was going for a whimsical dark fantasy vibe à la Neil Gaiman (my favourite fantasy writer). But hell yeah, I’ll take Hitchcock!
You’ll definitely get a better sense of what Su Su’s Promise is about once I post the cover and synopsis for it on Wattpad. It’ll be an AU but not as divergent as WTC.
